Reactivating ‘forgotten’ Perth
Situated on Hay Street above Kmart, the 1,100sqm space was abandoned for decades, and long deemed unfit for use.
The works involved creation of a Hay street Mall entry and lobby to access the previously unreachable upper floors along with works to the basement and forming and installation of two new lifts.
Level 3 was stripped back with the floor space extended to create a flexible working space and a stairwell between floors 2 and 3, with the Hames Sharley Studio taking occupancy of the new office space. A rooftop garden was created with facilities to enable it as a function space.
