Foyer Oxford
Technology for Smarter Youth Education
About the Project
Foyer Oxford is a cutting-edge youth housing service located on Oxford Street in Leederville. A collaboration between Foundation Housing Group and the Central Institute of Technology, this project was founded on the idea that education, training and employment can end youth homelessness.
Considerations
A complex project demands complex solutions. We delivered technologies to common areas, collaboration areas, and 98 apartments (designed to house up to 74 young people and 24 young parents) to support students living and learning at the project.
The Scope of Works
Working on apartment buildings and schools requires smart, intuitive and designed thinking. We worked with the Oxford Project to install and maintain electrical, communications, access control and security, CCTV, fire detection and energy management systems.
